WHAT DO I NEED TO CONSIDER?

Ultimately how you want your floor to look will depend on many options and variables that are available with a Polished Concrete Floor. I have made a 5 step simple system that incorporates the 5 basic steps required to create a beautiful and fully functional concrete floor.

1.THE CONCRETE SLAB CONSTRUCTION:

There is a definite method to how a slab should be poured to enable your end result to be achieved. Call me and I will put you in the right direction. If you don’t then you may NOT get what you hope for. The Grinding and Polishing company is NOT responsible for what is in the concrete and how it was laid. Generally the Concrete Concretor and Builder may NOT be aware of what is required. These are minor things and we are more than happy to assist. It is also Imperative to order the correct concrete from the concrete plant. Not all concrete is suitable and may not have the correct aggregates in it.

2. THE GRIND:

Is the amount of stone exposed by the grinding machine. ( None at all, Minor, Random and Maximum/Full ). The more you Grind unfortunatly the more it will cost.

3. THE POLISHING / SEALING:

There are different levels of gloss that can be achieved (Low, Medium, High). By way of machine polishing or by a sealer in a can. your choice….

4. THE LONGEVITY:

How long will it last for? ( a Mechanical Polished Concrete floor, ” MPC ” is more durable and longer lasting than a coating finish like a “Wetlook” or “Liquid Polish” floor.

5. THE COST:

Well…cheap job is probably a cheap product. We only offer a premium product at a fair price.
